Kickstarting careers with the Games Global Graduate Programme

Sayen Nagiah joined Games Global through the Graduate Programme, and has since grown within the business to become a BI and Analytics Developer. Sayen reflects on his Games Global journey so far and what lies ahead...

Q: What did you study before joining Games Global and what are you currently studying?

A: I studied a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences in Application Development (BCAD) at IIE Varsity College and completed my final year of undergraduate last year. This year, I am continuing the momentum through the IIE Varsity College doing my Postgraduate Honours in Data Analytics and Sciences.

Q: What value did the Games Global Graduate Programme add to your career and personal journey?

A: The Graduate Programme gave me the exposure needed to kickstart my career path, acting as a bridge to link my skills to real world use cases at Games Global. This, coupled with my manager’s plan of rotations within Central Intelligence Solutions, shifted the levels of exposure into the next gear. The Graduate Programme was a stepping stone for me which allowed me to flex my skills and exposure, and ultimately grew and positioned me for my new role.

Q: What are you looking forward to in your new role?

A: I am looking to provide an impact in my new role as a, BI and Analytics Developer in Datahub providing support to the monitoring team. I get to understand the data at a root level, allowing me to transform and massage the data for consumption. I am looking forward to the building of new products to come in my new spaces, which will provide meaningful company value.
