Four Games Global studios triumph at CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards 2024

29 May 2024 – Games Global and its exclusive studios are celebrating after picking up a total of five accolades at the prestigious CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards 2024.

First up, Fortune Factory Studios was crowned as SlotCatalog’s Games Studio of the Year - Small, following a standout year which saw the studio top game performance charts across multiple markets.

The studio was also recognised in the Game Mechanic of the Year category, claiming the silver award for its game-changing mechanic Gold Blitz™. Fortune Factory Studios has enjoyed back-to-back success with every Gold Blitz™ title since it debuted the mechanic in Mask of Amun™ in June 2022. With the most recent creation Gold Blitz Extreme™ topping the charts across all Games Global markets, and even more titles in the making, the mechanic continues to wow the industry.

Stormcraft Studios, meanwhile, scooped the Slot to Watch award for Immortal Romance™ II, which went live globally just this week. Twelve years after the legendary Immortal Romance™ slot game first captivated hearts, the latest chapter in the saga is already living up to the legacy of the original paranormal top-performer.

Alongside more established studio brands, burgeoning studio AreaVegas Games was also recognised, being named SlotCatalog’s Rookie of the Year. Having joined Games Global’s talented lineup of 40 unique studios last year, the studio has already made a name for itself with unique, standout exclusive releases such as Area Link Piggy Bank™ and Gold Rush Express™.

Finally, PearFiction Studios is celebrating after its talented audio technician Jean-Pierre Larouche collected the Game Composer of the Year award. The maestro behind the studio’s soundtracks and sound effects was recognised for his work on Cerberus Gold™.

The annual CasinoBeats Games Developer Awards is aimed at celebrating the continuing success and innovation in casino game development, helping to establish and nurture high-level development and innovation across the industry.

Games Global was shortlisted in three categories at this year’s event held on 23 May in Malta, while an 14 of its exclusive studio teams were in the running for an award, with impressive total of 25 nomination!
